Artificial intelligence systems refer to advanced electronic systems that integrate intelligent software and the latest AI technologies into various objects around us, such as smartphones, smart home appliances, automobiles, and robots. These systems are designed to perform the functions we want quickly, precisely, and accurately while consuming less electricity. Our department fosters creative AI systems engineers who can bring intelligent systems to life by integrating the software, hardware, and core artificial intelligence knowledge required to develop such AI systems.

Introduction

Our department aims to cultivate globally competitive professionals with expertise in AI architecture design, intelligent software development, and Physical AI hardware development. To achieve this goal, we offer a specialized curriculum that integrates a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge with practical skills tailored to industry needs.

Each course covers a wide range of essential areas for aspiring AI engineers, including core AI algorithms and applications, neural network systems, reinforcement learning, Edge AI, AI vision and image processing, intelligent mobility systems, autonomous driving, robotics, control systems, embedded and physical systems, sensor and control engineering, and communication and network technologies. In addition, our systematic curriculum incorporates programming languages essential for convergent software and AI development, including Introduction to Programming, C Programming, and Python, enabling students to maximize their software and algorithm development capabilities.
